Táakw Hít

A Storytelling Initiative

Táakw Hít is creating welcoming spaces for Taku River Tlingit citizens of all generations to come together, share stories, listen, remember, laugh, learn, and strengthen relationships. Stories can be about anything that matters to you: family, the land, hunting and fishing, childhood memories, language, food, teachings, photographs, places, change, resilience, humour, or life today.

Through gatherings in person and online, Elders, Survivors, families, youth, and community members will have opportunities to share, listen, and explore the many ways Tlingit life, knowledge, identity, and relationships to territory are lived and carried today.
